Description:
Digital Video Recorder (DVR) - replace the old VCR to record video surveillance. It records on a built in hard drive which replace the video cassettes with no need for cassette rotation and better video quality. Recording modes are
1) normal (24 hrs)
2) schedule - different time for each camera
3) motion detection - records only when motion is detected.
Some models have built in CD or DVD writer for archive. Recording rate, duration, size of hard drive, and video compression technology determines the total recording time stored on the hard drive. |
